Karen F. Pastor

Dr. Pastor received her veterinary degree from Tufts University in 1992. She completed a one-year rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. She then went on to complete a 3-year residency in surgery at Tufts University and Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA in 1996. After finishing her residency, she took a position as a staff surgeon at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in Weymouth, MA. In 2001, Dr. Pastor was certified to perform the tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) procedure for patients with cranial cruciate ligament disease. Her special interests are oncologic, urologic and orthopedic surgery. Dr.Pastor is board-certified in veterinary surgery by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Pastor joined Mass Vet in May 2003.
