Daniel Frem
Dr. Daniel Frem completed his undergraduate studies in Engineering at Dartmouth College and earned a Master of Engineering Management from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. Dr. Frem worked as a business analyst for a major auto manufacturer and managed a public golf course for several years prior to pursuing veterinary medicine.
Dr. Frem received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2011. Following graduation, Dr. Frem completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery in Ventura, CA and a surgical internship in Houston, TX. Dr. Frem then completed a three-year surgical residency at the Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2016 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (Small Animal) in 2017.
Dr. Frem’s practice includes orthopedic and soft tissue surgery with a particular interest in reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive procedures. Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Frem spent two years working as a surgeon in Las Vegas, NV before returning home and joining the team at Mass Vet in 2018. When not at work, Dr. Frem enjoys rock climbing, golfing, and hiking with his energetic Vizsla Oliver
