Dr. Jennifer Klaus graduated from Yale University in 1988 with a BA in anthropology. After graduating from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, she completed a one year internship in small animal medicine/surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital. She spent 5 years working in emergency/critical care. She then practiced general veterinary medicine until 2014, when she returned to the field of emergency/critical care.

She lives in Brookline, MA with her son, Tysen, daughter, Riley, and French bulldog, Tallulah. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, reading, watching her children play baseball and soccer, and cheering on the Yankees
