Kayla Caturay
Dr. Kayla Caturay earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis in 2014 with an emphasis in companion animals. Dr. Caturay then traveled to St. Kitts and Nevis to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical year at Michigan State University. After receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, she returned to the West Coast to complete a small animal rotating internship. From the sea to the mountains, Dr. Caturay spent time in Colorado as a surgery specialty intern and surgery fellow, during which she attended numerous veterinary surgical conferences and presented at the 20th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Society of Veterinary Soft Tissue Surgery. Dr. Caturay enjoys both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, with a special interest in orthopedics and minimally invasive procedures.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Caturay is a foodie who enjoys running, hiking, paddle boarding, yoga (land or water!), traveling, and spending time with her family, including her partner, two dogs, and orange fuzz of a cat.
